 Wednesdays 8:15-11:30 pm, Bachata Lessons and Open Dancing, Que Bueno Suerte on S. Pearl St. near Wash Park.

Come join many dancing students and Bachata enthusiasts for a night of learning beginning to intermediate Bachata dancing with open floor dancing till Midnight.  You can RSVP through our groups as we have scheduled all groups to go on the First Wednesday of each month or just show up any week and make some new friends.  Cost is $10 cash at the door per person and includes the lesson.

Thursday, July 16th, 6-8 pm, Sounds of the Southlands

For our next stop of our top 20 free concerts tour is to the Southlands Mall. We’ll be enjoying the sounds of national traveling band Those Crazy Nights, featuring the music of Journey. You can bring a lawn chair, your own food and drinks, but no outside alcohol allowed as a few restaurants sell those. RSVP if you will be there as space is limited.

Saturday, July 18th 5:30-8pm Concerts at the Orchards,

Join us for one of our most preferred concerts of the summer. We will all kick back and enjoy the top 30 greatest hits from the Eagles with the Long Run Band. Bring a lawn chair and water as no outside food or alcohol allowed. Space will be tight so get there early. Only RSVP if you want to share our company. Admission is free.

Thursday, July 23rd, Chris Daniels and the Kings at Flatirons Crossing.

Let’s get out and enjoy one of the Metro areas most loved and legendary bands, the Chris Daniels and the Kings Band. They play a little bit of everything and yes even some good dance music. You can bring a lawn chair, food and any beverages in here. Also, Bad Daddy will be selling food and beverages in the courtyard which is right next to the indoor food court. Admission is free.

Thursday, July 30th, 6-8 pm Heritage Park, Thumpin’ in Highlands Ranch.

Let’s get dancing and thumpin’ in Highlands Ranch as we enjoy the sounds of one of our favorite dance bands, “Thumpin”. They will play top 40, Motown and some R & B. Bring your own lawn chair, food and beverages to enjoy a beautiful night outside. There will be food trucks there as well in case you are running late. Admission is free!

Saturday, August 1st 6-8 pm. Six Million dollar Band, Civic Center Park in Highlands Ranch.

One of Denver’s top bands over the past twenty years will be giving us a great night of music out from the 80’s and more. Bring a lawn chair, food and beverages and your best dance moves as everyone will be on the dance floor most of the night. Admission is free, no dogs allowed. RSVP if you want some dance maniacs to join.

Tuesday, August 4th 5:30- 8pm. Concerts @ the Crescent.

It’s a second chance to hear another good Journey cover band called’ “Still They Ride”, in case you missed the first one. Bring a lawn chair, food and beverages and sit back and enjoy an adventure back into the 70’s and 80’s with some iconic music. Space is extremely limited, so only RSVP if you need us to save you a spot. Admission is Free, get there early if you can.

Thursday, August 6th, 5:45-8:15 pm Margarita ville in the Valley Concert. Columbine Valley.

Let’s all go to Margaritaville with the Margarita Brothers in Columbine Valley. They will play some Jimmy Buffet, Beach Boys and other songs from those movies filmed on a beach. Bring your beach chair, food and beverages. They will have a couple of food trucks in case you forget. Admission is free. RSVP if you want to travel to Margaritaville with some other Parrot Heads.

Sunday, August 9th, 5:30 pm- 8 pm, City Park Jazz Festival Finally.

We’ll make our one and only stop at Denver’s City Park Jazz series to dance and get funky with Jakarta. Get there early for food trucks and parking. You can bring your own food and beverages as well. RSVP if you want some funky people to sit with. Bring a lawn chair. Admission is FREE, but we suggest making a small cash donation to keep the music going nest year too.

Wednesday, August 12th 5:30-8 pm, Southglenn Summer Concerts, Last Man On Earth.

Have you had enough rock and roll this summer? This band will bring it bigtime. Join us for an enjoyable evening of your favorite rock classics. Bring a lawn chair, food and drinks or purchase food and drinks from one of many nearby restaurants. Get there early to help us save seats. Admission is free.

Saturday, August 15th 5:30-8 pm The Orchards

We will make our last trip up north to see the Red Rock Vixens.  These three ladies will perform a variety of top 40 and dance music.  Brin a lawn chair and a large bottle of water. No other outside food or beverages permitted, but there are many restaurants selling both food and drinks.  Admission is free.

Saturday, August 22nd, 6:30-8:30 pm Civic Green Park in Highlands Ranch.

We will say goodbye to summer in Highlands Ranch with a free concert in a wonderful park.  The band performing will be Ninety2k, featuring music from 1990 to 2010.  You can bring your own food and drinks.  Admission is free. No glass bottles or pets please.

Wednesday, August 26th 5:30-8pm. Streets of Southglenn.

C0ome out and enjoy the music of Top Shelf. Bring a lawn chair and any food or drinks you wish to consume. There are several restaurants near the venue as well.  Admission is free.

Friday, August 28th 5:30-7:30 pm. Aspen Grove Shopping Center.

We are adding an additional concert and second chance to see the top band in our top 20 band tour, “That Eighties Band”.

Saturday, August 29th, 2:45 pm. Upscale Happy Hour and Full Moon Hike.

Come join us for annual full moon hike at the Garden of the Gods. For those of us in the Denver metro area, we will carpool from the Cabelas in Lone Tree in the afternoon and visit one of Colorado’s fanciest happy hours at the Flying Horse Steakhouse in the Springs. Happy hour is from 4-6 pm, so we then head over to the Garden of the Gods Park for a little sunset picture taking. The moon should start rising by 8 pm and be high enough to grab some more terrific photos by 8:30 pm. The park closes at 10 pm, but we should be back in Lone Tree by then unless some of us decide to party a little at the Red Leg Tavern afterwards. Bring your best camera as we may be lucky enough to get a poster quality shot of the moon. In case of inclement weather, we can still do the Flying Horse Happy hour.
