For the past few years we have been Colorado’s fastest growing singles organization. Now we are the largest singles organization in the state with well over 15,000 members. Our goal is to ultimately get singles away from their smart phones and computers by getting them involved in the community, with other singles and with people who may have similar interests.
We believe by hosting and showcasing some of Colorado’s best events, our members will make more friends, build more relationships and possibly even find that someone special. We don’t do speed dating or online dating, nor do we even recommend either for many good reasons. Our members can meet quality singles at any of our events or at gatherings put together by some of our affiliate groups. We also host some personal and business networking events.
Our Business Model
By offering free memberships to our multiple Meetup.com groups, and affordable membership cards that continually help our members to find discounts . These discounts will be at local bars and restaurants, local contractors, professional services and events that may have a cover charge. We help our members find great local companies at affordable prices and save money on nearly every transaction. By helping our members in several different areas, we will grow our membership by thousands of people each year. Our members can place their businesses on this website simply by purchasing our 5280 Singles Membership Card. By the way, you do not have to be single to own a discount card or advertise your business here to thousands of single people.
In our first year, we added over 6,000 members just by doing many terrific events, many of which are free. Now that we are adding a lot of other services and benefits to our members, we are looking for even more growth in each of the coming years.
Who We Are
We started in 2001 as an online dating site, with local vendors and events included, years ahead of any other dating websites. In 2008, we started up the Fun Network. This was a discount, events, fundraising and local marketing network that created the 5280 Singles phenomenon to bring more people to more businesses and local events.
Around September 1, 2016 we created 5280 Singles and have grown into not only the largest but also the most dynamic singles organization in Colorado. We work in conjunction with other singles and social groups to do the best small and large scale events for singles and non married couples. We have created this special website to offer our members even more than just great events.
